1.

Total Spent: 250 bottles × $6 = $1,500

Good Bottles Left: 250 − 14 = 236 bottles

Total Earned: 236 bottles × $18 = $4,248

Profit: $4,248 − $1,500 = $2,748

2.

Tuesday Revenue: 85 sets × $24 = $2,040

Wednesday Sets: 85 + 42 = 127 sets

Wednesday Revenue: 127 sets × $24 = $3,048

  • Combined Total: $2,040 + $3,048 = $5,088
  • Cash Left: $5,088 − $450 = $4,638

First 5 Zones: 5 × 46 = 230 patches

Last 3 Zones: 3 × 62 = 186 patches

Total Patches: 230 + 186 = 416 patches

Remaining Patches: 416 − 174 cleaned = 242 patches

New Average: 242 ÷ 8 zones = 30.25 → 30 patches per zone (with 2 leftover patches)

4 (Part A).

Turtles: 4 groups × 6 turtles = 24 turtles

Total Turtles + Seals: 24 + 14 seals = 38 animals

5 (Part B).

Total Triggerfish: 38 × 3 = 114 triggerfish

Triggerfish Per Coral Head: 114 ÷ 6 coral heads = 19 triggerfish
